I know these 2 tiny rock stars from my days at Celebrity Kids. I had been wanting to do a baby rock star shoot and I knew just the boys:)

One of the things that I love about photographing children is that as young and innocent as they are, they also have this way of seeming wise beyond their years. I love to see such an adult expression on the face of a child.

Isn't little Aubrey cute as a button? She was so sweet, sharing cheerios with her puppy Razz and happily hanging out in the rain:) I had a great time using her great-grandmother's 'sleeping chair' as well as some other awesome chairs! Thanks for such a fun photo shoot and for playing outside despite the rain!

It was a windy day in DC when we met for our shoot, but despite the cold, Sophia and Keller were in good spirits! We spent a lot of time collecting dandelions, or help the national mall de-weed, as well as staying snuggled in mom and dad's arms to stay warm. I am looking forward to seeing The Kerr family again at a wedding this July.

Kareem & Amina | Jessica Arden Photography

I had a great time photographing Kareem and Amina last weekend. Kareem is such a sweet and helpful big brother and Amina is a beautiful and happy baby, and boy, does that kid crawl fast! I think that she is trying as hard as she can to keep up with her big bro:) If you know my style, you know that I have a bit of an obsession with gorgeous eyelashes...If they gave out trophies for the most long and full lashes, Kareem would take first prize. He is gonna be a heart breaker, for sure. And he isn't the only one mom and dad have to worry about. Amina's sweet face is going to melt hearts! Thanks for such a fun session!

Tenley | Gaithersburg, MD

I have been looking forward to this session with Tenley all month because we were finally able to get outside! I have photographed her many times, but always either in a studio or in her house. This time we ventured outside, and Tenley seemed to really enjoy herself:) She loved the grass and wanted to eat it of course. She also started doing this cute thing where she pats herself as if to say 'it's me!' I have already expressed to you what a cool kid Tenley is, and she always proves me right!
