Shoogilly!

I have been in Reading, PA for the past 2 days visiting my daddy who had the world premiere of his award winning play, Tales of Shoogilly. Shoogilly is a beautiful story of friends growing up and in a small town in Texas...it follows them through many years and many ups and downs...a wonderful tale! My dad wrote this play around the time that I was born and has been working on it on and off ever since. I was lucky enough to be there for opening night and it was a blast! It is a wonderful story to read, but to see it on the stage is a completely different experience. the production in taking place at Alvernia University and still has another weekend to go. The theater is in a beautiful old building that was originally an orphanage. It has a lot of history and awesome architecture..more of those pics later:)
Dad was a total celebrity...he even got interviewed for the news:)
